I’m one month postpartum today and I’ve been experiencing very VERY severe lower back pain. I am literally unable to move with my back getting stuck or experiencing and huge spasm. It’s 5pm and I haven’t been able to get out of bed because the pain is really just unbearable. I usually have a high pain tolerance and even the nurses said so during my week long hospital stay before labor but this is just truly on another level. I went to the ER last night where the doctor prescribed me some muscle relaxers and anti inflammatories but the muscle relaxers do nothing for me so the pain remains the same for now. I’m hoping that this isn’t correlated to any type of kidney failure since that was also mentioned last night during our visit. I genuinely don’t know what else to do because I’m not even able to take care of my newborn who needs me right now. Please please help if anyone has experienced something similar.

Also yes, I did get an epidural. I’m not sure if that’s what may have triggered this.
