Anyone else give baby paci in the middle of the night to sleep a little longer?

It depends on what she’s doing. If she’s asleep but stirring, I do (but if it doesn’t work I obviously get her up). If she’s awake and crying or ready to get up then I get her up and don’t try the paci.

Yes! Sometimes she’s not even really awake when she cries or fusses. If she spits it back out and keeps crying I’ll pick her up!

Not to mention that sleeping with pacifiers reduce the risk of SIDS.

Yes definitely, sometimes he stirs during the night before he is due a feed and he will go back to sleep with his dummy. I know for sure he’s ready for a feed when he is sucking on his hands x

It depends, if he’s still sleeping but fussy I’ll do it. (Usually it’s a short amount of time after I put him down) 
Other wise he’s crying and dad picks him up and changes his diaper for me to feed.

Mine won't take a paci she only wakes up oncd if that, so I just nurse her.

No but that’s cause he’s awake because he’s hungry and if he isn’t he’ll self soothe himself back to sleep. If it’s working for you and babe to get more sleep then do it lol

I did this last night! Baby girl slept all night and started waking up around 5:30. Her wake up time is around 7. She went right back to sleep and slept another hour before we got up for our morning routine.
