When did you start taking your baby out?

I’m just curious if people still follow the rule of 2 weeks-6 weeks or whatever it is. I’ve taken mine out 7 days old to target and then 9 days to a restaurant wearing her and covering with a swaddle.

I've been taking the baby out almost every day since he was born. My 5 year old has school and my 2 year old will explode if kept in the house all day. I don't really have a choice because his food source is attached to my chest, my husband works all day, and we have no family or friends in the area to help out.

We took my baby to Walmart on day 3. We go out a few times a week and she's 5 weeks old

We go out every day at least once if not several times per day. Baby is 1 week 2 days. We took her to the beach on the way home from the hospital 💕

I’m uptight about it. My baby is a little over 6 weeks and I haven’t really taken him out. I took him to a family get together at my mom’s house (about 15 people) a few days ago but that’s about it. I’m a paranoid FTM tho. Our pediatrician said no grocery stores or other crowded public spaces until he gets his shots. He will get his shots in one month so that’s when I’ll take him out to more public spaces. Until then I’m going to stick to relatives houses and walking around our neighborhood and stuff. But like I said, I’m a paranoid FTM and I’m probably taking it too seriously.

I don’t plan to have him in crowded spaces until he gets his 2 month shots. I take him out for walks in our neighborhood with him covered up. That’s about it.

Stayed in for a week or two because I felt like it and then after that went out because my toddler was bursting at the seams to get out and play. I just left the babe in the seat with the cover on or on me while I wore a wrap. 
I have found that if they are in a covered seat or whatever or in a wrap right on your body, people leave you and baby be or just say Awww and completely avoid the lean over and touch that most moms cringe at. 
I also am big on washing my hands when I’ve been out , or sanitizer. It’s often the debit machines or door handles that are the issue.

My baby is 5 weeks old and first time we went somewhere she was 2 weeks old for a gathering at someone’s house. Now I just take her out on short errands and that’s not everyday. We go outside for walks everyday sometimes twice. I also took her to church at 3 weeks old but I keep her by my side not at the daycare

My baby came home from the NICU last Sunday. She is now 16 days old. She has gone to the hair salon, her doctors appointments, my doctors appointments, maternal fetal medicine (to show her off), and today we had her in the car seat stroller around the park.
