If baby won't burp after changing him many positions can I just lay him down to sleep?

My baby usually burps but this time he finished eating but won't burp no matter what position I put him in for a couple of minutes 😪 Should I just lay him down?

I do 🤷🏼‍♀️... sometimes she’s good and sometimes she spits up but I do try and give it some time before laying her down without a burp. I think it’s more common in breastfed babies to not always get burps

How do you usually burp baby? Best way is on your shoulder, if that doesn't work try slowly laying them down then picking baby back up to your shoulder, it'll help move gases up and hopefully baby burps 😁

My son never burped no matter what we tried. This one is 50/50, we give it a good try but if she doesn’t burp we lay her down.

My baby usually burps right away but sometimes she won’t burp and as long as you tried I think it’s ok to put your baby down. That’s what I do and she’s been fine

Our son doesn't always burp, or sometimes we get one mid feed but not at the end. At some point we just give up. 🤷‍♀️

I find that if I lay my daughter down before she burps she usually spits up.m 🤷🏻‍♀️
