Losing weight and breastfeeding
Backstory: So I have been EBF my little one and she just started solids about 2 weeks ago at 6 months. I plan on continuing to breastfeed for at least a year if possible.
During my pregnancy I gained 43 pounds. When I left the hospital I was down 13 pounds, but since then I've only lost 5 pounds in SIX MONTHS!Nearly everyone I know would say "with breastfeeding, the baby weight will just fall off". That has not been my experience lol.
I'm hungry often and I have worse cravings than when I was pregnant. I've been eating better recently and walking, but no real progress. I asked my FB breastfeeding moms group around 3 months PP and was basically told to let my body heal and lose weight organically vs. trying eat less and workout. I don't want to affect my milk supply but I would like to lose a significant amount of weight by the time baby's 1st birthday rolls around. Anyone have any tips for losing weight while maintaining supply?
