Bad cramping at 39 weeks

FTM : I’ve been having some bad cramping/pain under my belly where you normally have period cramps. It’s off and on and doesn’t last for very long. I can’t seem to tell if it’s the baby so far low and moving or pushing on stuff. Does not feel like contractions. Anyone have any ideas? Doesn’t seem like something id go to the hospital for

Well now I’m thinking it’s contractions. Sharp pain in my lower abdomen every 5 ish minutes but it’s varying sometimes
