comfort nursing

my daughter seems to comfort nurse during her feedings. it’s rare that she will be latched and have a persistent feed before pulling off. most of the time she falls asleep and slowly latches off. i try to tickle her feet, rub her palms, i’ve heard blowing on her face (which i find strange and feel bad doing lol). any other suggestions?
