Pleeease give me advice about my OBGYN situation

Okay I’m in need of some major advice so gear up, this is going to be a long one.

I’m getting a really off feeling about my OB office and don’t know if it’s crazy pregnancy brain. I had a miscarriage in early August, and was a patient at this office when all of that happened. Needless to say I’ve been anxious/apprehensive with this pregnancy, so I called to ask if I could get HCG levels run for some peace of mind.

I called to request the levels on the morning I found out I was pregnant, 10/2. They said a nurse would call me back. I called again on 10/8 because I had never heard anything and scheduled my 8w appt as well as had an order faxed for bloodwork. I got my first HCG levels drawn that day at noon. I was told by the lab that I should hear back in a couple of hours (this is a Tuesday).

3:30 rolls around and I haven’t heard anything, so I call the OB and they say a nurse will call me back before the end of the day. 5:30 comes around (when the office closes) and I still haven’t heard. I call again, and begin with “I’m so sorry I’ve called you all twice today-“ and was interrupted with the lady saying “Sorry but we’re really busy, so do you have a question?” I got real snappy and told her I was waiting results, she said a nurse would call first thing in the morning. Long story short, after numerous more calls, I finally get my results on Thursday 10/10 and they tell me to get them redrawn the next day.

So Friday 10/11 at 9am I get them redrawn. I called them at noon today hoping for results, they said a nurse would call me back (shocker). It’s now after office hours and I’ve heard nothing.

So, am I crazy? Should I be mad? What do I even do at this point? 😭
