Anybody else’s 7 month old not sitting up without support yet?

My son can tripod sit but he’s still so into his feet or toys around him that he ends up bending all the way over to eat his toes or he will fling himself onto his belly to reach for any toy he can 😅

It's a 9 month milestone. Don't rush it.

Mine can sit-up with out support but I can’t walk away. He will fall over to one side or fling himself backwards

My daughter sits but she gets lazy and will randomly fall over so we keep pillows behind and on the side of her. She literally just did it one day. I was so worried like you are and she just randomly started sitting. Not tripod anymore. I was so surprised and praising her and she of course looked at me like I was nuts. 🤷‍♀️

My daughter will be 7 mo on the 21st and can barely tripod sit because she just wants to reach for stuff in front of her! Even if I put the toys between her legs or where she can reach it, she tips forward or to the side 🤷🏻‍♀️ we’re working on it, but I’m not worried. My brother and I didn’t sit unassisted until 9 months! Some kids just develop certain skills late.

Mine will be 7 months in a few days and she a couple weeks ago went from not sitting up at all without falling to being very stable almost overnight!  It was crazy.

Anybody else’s 7 month old not sitting up without support yet?
