Yo. I’ve had my iud for around a year and a half now. I’m 18 days late on my period, but I didn’t have sex in between my last one (which came) and this one. So like 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️????

Irregular bleeding is the most common side effect. This includes heavier bleeding, longer bleeding, spotting, no periods, periods closer together or farther apart. Initial bleeding can last between 3 to 6 months. But irregular bleeding can occur at anytime during the use of the iud.
