Breastmilk Quantity
My son is 5 months old. He is breast and bottle fed breastmilk.
I'm told he is having 2-3 ounces every 3 hours while I am at work. At his 4 month check up the pedi said he should be having atleast 4 ounces every 3 hours. Which seems close to me but the pedi was pretty strict about the the minimum 4 ounces. And now we are a month beyond that check up..
My issue is that I really do think my son makes up his daytime shortfalls at night when he is constantly nursing with me.
Should I push 4 ounces at a time on him while I am away? Or not change anything and let him binge at the breast?
