First ultrasound ?

So I’m 12dpo today and I received my BFP yesterday! What would be the soonest I could get a ultrasound done? My last pregnancy I got one at 5w6d and you were able to hear babies heartbeat and all, but I want to know what’s the soonest

Most doctors wait until 8-10 weeks to do the first trimester ultrasound so they can get accurate dates and confirm viability.  Its often too early if done sooner.  But the very earliest a baby can potentially be seen with transvaginal ultrasound is 5.5 weeks,  so right around the time you had your first ultrasound with your last baby.

I would try and wait as close to 7 weeks as possible, they’ll definitely be able to see a bit more! It’s a tough wait I know but things can be clearer 💕💕 Congrats on your BFP

Depends on your OB! You’ll have to call and ask. Some do 6, some do 8, and some don’t even see you til 12weeks.
