I volunteered for a scientific testing lab a year or two ago because I squirt A LOT and was curious too. Drs aren't really sure what causes it actually. It's made in the bladder and does contain a small amount of urine but that's because the bladder never fully empties. It also has a chemical from a glad near the bladder, the "G-Spot". It has a similar chemicals to vaginal fluid and semen, but is comprised mainly of water. When you orgasm a small amount of water empties quickly into your bladder regardless of how recently you've peed. That's why you usually have to pee after sex. Some women expel this water when they orgasm. I may have gotten some details wrong. It was a while ago and the copy of the findings a received was in Dr lingo lol.
Point is, don't worry, you're not actually peeing on him.
