And I’m like overthinking the whole timing of contractions. 
I like to think I’m an educated individual with a master degree but i am sitting here thinking how I’m not going to be able to figure out the contraction counting process. 
I think my anxiety and pregnancy brain is making me dumb 😂😂😭😭😭

You count from the beginning of one to the beginning of the next. 
You can also keep track of the duration, but really it’s how close together they are. 
Contractions are like a wave. They build in intensity, have a peak, then slowly release. At first it will be more difficult to gauge but then it becomes easier as they become more regular and intense.

I’m planning to use pregnancy + app to time contractions, it’s simple to use and tells you how long they are and the time between contractions. My hospital told me to head their way when they are 5 minutes apart for an hour.
