So I have PCOS, was told I'd probably never have kids without fertility treatments etc. Got surprised, had my son in Dec 2018. Got the mirena IUD in February. Haven't had a period since but have been feeling nauseous so I figured I'd take a test to calm my anxiety.

Y'all this did NOT calm my anxiety!!

Is this even possible? Getting pregnant with an IUD? I went by the doctors today and they are doing bloodwork and will tell me tomorrow if I need an ultrasound. I'm really freaking out guys.

So the clinic mislabeled my blood vials so I had to go back in today on my lunch and get blood drawn again. They called me at 4:30pm and said that I only had trace amounts of hcg in my blood so I was definitely not pregnant. I then took a blue dye and pink dye test when I got home (for own peace of mind) and both were negative. Clinic didnt offer any answers to it. So I think it's safe to say I'm not pregnant at this point

So I woke up today with severe pelvic pain. Went to work and it got worse so I called my womens clinic and they told me to go to urgent care. Went there, they did a urine and blood test which were both negative. She then did a pelvic exam and asked if i was finishing up my period, i said no because i haven't had a period since before i got pregnant with my son which is common when you have the mirena IUD. And she goes oh well you're bleeding. So I have an ultrasound for next Tuesday morning
