Being induced stories?

Question

Being induced tomorrow morning would like some stories to ease my mind as a FTM. 
Also how many hours after being induced did it take to have your baby? Thanks in advance :)

Got to the hospital started pitocin and cervadil at 11pm on a Tuesday and didn’t have her until that Friday at 5 pm.

My induction went very well! I got to the hospital at 8 pm on a Thursday night and was started on cervidil around 9 pm. It was taken out about 9:30 am on Friday morning. I was started on pitocin not too long after and at 2:30 pm my water broke (literally five minutes before my doctor came in to break it lol.) My daughter ended up being born at 12:14 am Saturday after only an hour or two of pushing.

Mine was super simple and went well. I was in labor for 7 hours and pushed for 7 minutes and my daughter was born! I progressed very quickly which is why I think I had some tearing but other than that it was okay and I’m glad it was super fast! I was induced with pitocin. I had some bad back labor but the epidural helped with that. I got sick as I progressed but that was normal stuff I could handle because I had morning sickness throughout my whole pregnancy. I was able to get the epidural whenever I wanted which helped and I got it before they broke my water so I couldn’t feel that. Once they broke my water everything went so fast and my body was progressing like crazy. The epidural helped relax my body so I think because of that, it went quicker because I wasn’t so tense and stressed out/feeling pain. I was able to sleep and just relax. If I had to be induced again I would do it. Recovery honestly sucked because of stitches and tearing plus I am anemic so losing blood made me pass out a lot and I was all dizzy but I knew I’d probably feel crappy anyways because of anemia. Recovery was the worst thing out of all of it. But my induction was super simple! I was so scared going into it but I don’t regret it at all. Hopefully my next baby will come on their own though so I can see what it’s like to go into labor on my own without needing a push. And hopefully it’s super quick like this one. 😂

My induction went CRAZY good. I got to the hospital at 11am. They finished setting me up and put cervadil in at noon. I was only half way thinned out and 1.5 cm dilated when I got there. 
They told me that cervadil takes 12 or more hours to do anything so to just play games, watch tv and nap. By 10pm literally nothing was happening. I was SO annoyed, so I went to bed. I woke up at 10:45 to pee and noticed bleeding so I called my nurse in. She said that bleeding was a good sign and that she’d check me. The cervadil ended up coming out all on it own and I was all the way thinned out but still only 2cm dilated. She said that if I didn’t start labor soon, she was gonna he give me pitocin because she didn’t want me all the way thinned with no labor kicking in. She left the room and said she’d come back at midnight to see where I’m at. Midnight rolled around and I was in FULL blown labor. Swaying back and forth. Breathing through the contractions. My baby was born at 2:08am and I only pushed for three minutes. My entire labor start to finish was 2 hours 15 minutes. I had no time for pain meds and my contractions weren’t HORRIBLE until my water broke at 7cm. As soon as I hit 7cm, she was out 20 mins later so my labor was very, very smooth and amazing. And I never needed pitocin which was a huge goal of mine.

My induction started at 9pm I was 1cm. They put in the cervidale overnight so it was in for 12 hrs. I felt slight contractions through the night but I was able to still sleep comfortably beside being hooked up to all those damn monitors. At 9am I was 2 cms dilated. My nurse told me I could take my shower before they started me on the pitocin drip. I get up, get in the shower and feel an immense amount of pressure and like a pop. My water broke and that fast I was in active labor so now the contractions were coming HARD. The pressure made me feel like I had to poop so I sad on the toilet but I told myself not to push because I heard when the baby is low it feels like u have to poop. So nothing came out and they finally get me back in my bed. Once she checked me I was 7cm that fast. It was probably around 2pm. Now the contractions was coming back to back. I ended up getting the epidural. I got checked again I was 8cm. By 3:30 it was time to push. At 4:03 I gave birth to my beautiful baby boy. I definitely had some complications at bled a lot, my bp also dropped tea low when I first hit active labor so some of it is still blurry to me. I totaled 19hrs of labor.

I was induced with my first daughter and it went really well! I was induced at 12:00 pm and then active labour started around 3 pm; my baby was born at 10:59 pm that same night after only 7 minutes of pushing ☺️ However, I definitely recommend the epidural. I didn’t get it with my first daughter but did the second time around and it made a HUGE difference

I was induced at 6pm on a Tuesday and had my son at 10:04 pm Wednesday but it was not as bad as I was expecting. I pushed for about and hour and a half but it felt much quicker. Pushing was actually my favorite part because I felt like I was accomplishing something instead of just laying there lol. You got this mama!

Induction went well - I was not shy to ask for an epidural and they were amazing at monitoring me the whole day. I felt so so supported and knew my baby and I were in good hands. You got this Momma!

My induction failed. Even after breaking my water, I still only dilated about a cm after cervidil and pitocin. Since they broke my water, they had to do a c section.
