Postpartum essentials?

Question

Anyone have any recommendations on what to have on hand once I get home? FTM but so far I have: 
Tucks 
Dermoplast pain and itch spray
Always discreet postpartum underwear 
Frida mom instant ice maxi pads 
Frida mom upsidedown peri bottle 
Any suggestions would be great.
Also, has anyone made their own witch hazel pads? Do you literally just soak them in it and freeze? 🙈

I’ve also been told to get preparation h. I’ve heard the padsicles are great. Most people just put some aloe gel and spread it and witch hazel gel and do the same and then freeze it.

The hospital supplied be with basically all that stuff. And when I was discharged I took the remainder of what was left with me. So I had tucks pads, regular pads, the squirt bottle, and mesh undies. Granted that stuff only lasts so long so getting some of our own is definitely a good idea. For me when I got home I just continued using the tucks pads every single time I went to the bathroom. I lined them along my pad and it felt great. Stool softeners are a big plus too because that first poo after baby is a bit scary and that can help make you experience better. I also got some grannies panties and I personally like more snug undies because looser ones made me feel like I’d leak.

The hospital usually gives you a peri bottle, some pads and mesh undies and they write you a prescription for stool softener.
I got extra pads at the store prior, as well as undies I didn’t mind tossing out after and lots of lounge wear.
Don’t forget breast pads and nipple cream if you’re breastfeeding.

Hmmmm the hospital I went to for my first provided all of this, I wonder if some hospitals don’t 🤔🤔 I’m going to a different hospital and I’m banking on them providing all of this, it would suck if they don’t 😵😵

Also having meals pre made in the freezer was my lifesaver with my first!! So many days you just don’t have the energy to cook once baby comes.
