I was looking to get a emotional support dog considering I have bad anxiety and I tried medications before that I don’t like to take. I wanted to try to get a emotional support dog cause I think it would really help with my anxiety and comfort but my housing doesn’t allow dogs unless they are emotional support dogs of course . But my question is . Do I have to own a dog already before getting a certificate for an emotional support dog ?
