You will most likely be administered clindamycin. That’s what we give our patients who has allergic reactions to any -cillins.

I’m also positive for group b strep and allergic to amoxicillin and penicillin. You don’t have to be induced, there are other antibiotics the hospital will give you.

I’m allergic too and they gave me erythromycin! Which gave me no issues

They will just administer a different antibiotic. I’m allergic to those as well and have tested positive every pregnancy. I’m on my third and I was not induced bc of it. I was just given different antibiotics when I went into labor
