Is this normal?

I just started birth control this month. Halfway through my pills I got a really heavy period. I still have a week of pills to take. Is this normal? What should I do?

Yes keep taking them! It should eventually in another month or two get your period consistent. But that isn’t the case
For all women. Example, me. I’ve been on the pill since July or August and so far in August and September I’ve had 2 periods in those months. With it now being October my periods are still very inconsistent and my cycle days are like 13 &16 around there. Super close together. Not 28. And it’s made me super Moody I feel like. Okay more like a bitch. So Sunday I am switching over to the Nuva Ring Again that I had years ago and I’m excited. Plus it helps prevent Ovarian Cysts which I’ve had in the past and most likely have had again. But again keep taking them and hopefully it’ll even out if not u can always talk to your dr and switch. There’s plenty options out there :) and not saying any of this will happen to you just talking from my experience with the pill.
