Normal symptom?

I’m 7 weeks and 5 days as of today... but the last week or so I have had the WORST taste in my mouth. Everything taste sour or bitter except for salt. But everything I drink just tastes poisoned. Is this normal? I googled it and read that sometimes woman have a metal taste? It’s so awful :(

Girl yes totally normal and the only advice I can give is to have gum nearby at all times. I went through packs of gums. It’s so awful and it feels like it’s never going to go away. I still occasionally get it and I’m 24 weeks. But after the first trimesters all those symptoms shoulddddd be gone but for me I wasn’t so lucky. There’s really nothing that can help with that, I’ve checked online and asked my doctor and never got anything useful. Just chew loads of gum

Super normal. I had it my entire first trimester and some of my second. I had to constantly keep candy in my mouth or I couldn’t take it🤢
