My SO and I are in a debate on how much my baby costs.

I make $2000 monthly on maternity leave.

$1000 goes to house hold bills. (Roughly)

$100 for my cellphone with taxes.

$100 goes onto my visa (I didn’t get paid for a couple months so I maxed it out at 2 grand and pay $25 weekly)

We have a four person house hold and live in Canada and our groceries range from $120-150 weekly

And my child’s formula alone costs me $75 a week.

Leaving me with $20 at the end of the month still needing to provide diapers, wipes, clothes, solid foods and bottle liners, which isn’t doable and he thinks I’m spending my money wrong but I budget to the best I honestly can. I don’t buy myself anything and He doesn’t understand I need help, he always says he has no money and I’m annoyed I’m providing for a household all by myself. I’d like to be able to get myself a luxury item once in a while, a new shirt when I come across one. I wear ugly old hand me downs, I look and feel like shit. I can’t afford makeup, I just don’t get it... I’d like a to just do something for myself vs having to worry about everyone else including my stepson.
