Ovarian cyst

Hi ladies! I’m 17 and I recently got a hip MRI and I just heard back about the results. Turns out I have a labrum tear (I was kind of expecting that) but I was also told that I have an Ovarian cyst 4-6 cm. What does that mean? What is an ovarian cyst and what does that mean? Will it need to be removed? What do I do with that information?
