My first baby has arrived!

Hailey Kathryn both 10/14/19 7lb 10oz 21inches long.

My labor was not at all enjoyable but it gave me my daughter and for that all the pain has dissolved from my memory.

Here’s the long story short:

came into L&D Sunday 10/13/19 @ 10pm for contractions 2 minutes apart got admitted water broke around 6am, there was meconium in my water which is common for over due babies. I was 10cm by 12-1pm maybe. I had an epidural which failed it was only good on my right side, had it reinserted 3x. I was in crazy pain bc my contractions were abnormal they were like 400-600 seconds. It was insane, so I started to push but the pain was so bad and I was so tired from being up for 24+ hours I legit could not do it anymore so I ended up doing a c section. Little girl was already in my birth canal bc I started pushing manually so the trauma to my stomach pulling her out was fun. She was in nicu being monitored for swallowing some mecomium and placed on antibiotics but everything was good and she’s absolutely amazing.

I am on the road to recovery and baby is 100% healthy and gorgeous
