Drinking...?

Ok so I'm 32 weeks pregnant and getting married on Saturday. I made the decision that there was to be no drinking at my wedding. The reason being is because his family and mine both have a smart mouth and if you add alcohol to that I see it as just asking for trouble. I also said that if they showed up drunk they would be asked to leave. Am I wrong for this?

I think a wedding is a big party celebration I was prego but everyone else drank I still had fun. Buy I understand your family thing. But to me a reception is to eat n drink

I actually asked for the same thing at my wedding for the exact same reason. We will see how it turns out. His parents are always drinking and partying so we will see! I'm proud of myself though for standing up for what I believe in. No drinking is a good idea.

I think that it is your day and you should be able to have what ever you want and if that means no drinking or no body drunk at your wedding then people should respect that. Its your day, not theirs, and if they cant respect that for one night to share in your love and happiness, then they shouldnt be there. Congratulations on your up coming wedding!
