What made you want to have another baby?

Moms with 2 or more kiddos:
What made you want another kid? How did you know it was the right time? My daughter is almost 2 and I know my husband really wants another kid before he’s 35 (he’s 34 now, I’m almost 28). Sometimes I feel like I really want another, but other times I feel like I wouldn’t be able to handle it and our little family of 3 is perfect. Right now our daughter is a TERROR. She gets into everything, climbs shit, basically tries giving me a heart attack daily. She’s VERY wild and rambunctious and I just feel like adding another kid is going to make it worse and harder on me (I know that sounds selfish.) I’m very iffy about it. My husband knows all of this and would never pressure me into having another child just because he wants it. I’m just so torn......

Transitioning from 1 to 2 was so hard for me. My spouse and I work full time. I also breastfeed and pump for my youngest. It’s very demanding. My kids are two years and two months a part. The hardest is dividing up time. And my mom guilt went through the roof. I feel like I’m short changing both my children because I’m only one mommy. On good days though, and they’re mostly good days, I’m so grateful I Have two children. They play wonderfully. The oldest is so kind and loving. She’s also jealous and demanding at times but it ebbs and flows. 
From what I’ve experienced, and what I’ve heard, there’s never a good time to have kids. But do it when you know you’re really ready. The best advise I got about having kids: have a baby when the love is so abundant, that it’s ready to spilled over into another child.

I can totally relate... i always thought id have another kid within 1 year or so after my first... until i had my first... It has been such a long hard journey. I had a traumatic delivery, then realized something was wrong while we were still in the hospital recovering bc of how fussy and fidgety he was, just his 2nd day of life you could hear his bowel sounds from across the room, his farts smelt like death, long story short he had a horrible milk allergy and severe reflux.. he would vomit almost his entire bottle and both of us would have to change our clothes with every bottle, i coukdnt leave the house bc of it. It was such a process, dr appointemts every week.. screaning from dusk til dawn.. Hes 14 months now and off all of his meds and drinking whole milk. THANK GOD. Things have gotten ALOT easier... but now hes so wild... he is go go go 24/7 he only just started to sit down with me and my husband for a few minutes at a time. But being that things have gotten easier ive also been thinking about having another kid but am also so on the fence because i am just now recovering from everything we went through with him i question whether or not i can do all of that all over again now that i am just starting to heal mentally and physically

My son is 3. We will TTC baby #2 in March/April after he turns four. Then after baby #2 is born, we will wait 4 more years and have another one. And then potentially baby #4 if my husband doesn’t snip himself first 😂😂😂 
I love being a mother. I love having children and watching them grow.

Our kids are very spread out. I wanted at least one more after 3 and my husband didn't. A few years later he was all let's have a baby out of nowhere. We have always talked about a girl. We've talked about how soon we'll have only one in the house, my middle graduates this year, and we really don't like the idea of an empty house, even when the silence is nice.
