Does anyone have any fear of deformities?

Idk why I’m paranoid, of course I’ll love my baby but I get these nightmares that he will come out with one arm or a missing limb of some sort 😂 it’s not funny though, like I legit get worried!
I feel like doctors would have told me by now if they saw something abnormal? 🤔 
Anyway..... is anyone crazy like me? 😂😂

As a mom of a child with a limb difference I can tell you that if your child would be missing a limb it's not that big of a deal. They'll do just fine anyway. It's not always something that shows up on ultrasounds. I did several ultrasounds, but they still missed that he doesn't have fingers on his left hand.

Hi! I just wanted to share my experience. I was told my baby was perfect on every ultrasound until 34 weeks. Then they said his femurs were measuring short and we went to see a specialist. The specialist had no idea why they were measuring short because everything looked great! When my son was born at 35+5, his left leg had - short femur, bowed tibia, under developed heel bone and he is missing a toe. The right leg is perfect. I never saw that coming but my little guy is perfectly healthy otherwise. I would take the these problems all day long because my little guys is happy and healthy. Deformities don’t make babies any less special 🤍 everything will work out!!

Just found out Thurs at 34+2 that baby has what’s called sandal gap. It’s a foot deformity. It’s only his right foot though. We had no mentions of it until this ultrasound because he’s always kept his foot hidden. Will find out severity of it at birth

Yes hun if the baby had a physical deformity you would know by now. 
Not every birth defect is on the outside though. I have 2 special need children born with Rare genetic conditions. Absolutely nothing has changed I love them more then when I was carrying them.

I think its only natural to worry. Im worrying to due to the fact at my anatomy scan they couldnt get the head measurments they need etc. Even 3weeks later at a 2nd attempt so it will be a case of waiting untill the birth were she will be checked. although they have no worries. I had a early 16wks scan and all looked fine so im hoping that is the case but its still a worry.
