when is it ok to have sex?

I’m 8 weeks and just noticed some light pink discharge i went to the doctor and she obvoisly said no sex and to keep and eye out and if i do have any bleed to go to the ER...but since i just had the discharge this morning when is it ok to have sex again ?

When your doctor clears you. She said no sex. Which means no sex.

I feel like there is more to this story. I had spotting for 7 days and my doctors told me NOTHING. they also had no concern. That being said, ive had two ultrasounds since the spotting and im having no issues. Healthy 10w today HR 185-189. My TMI is use lube 🤷‍♀️ cause the bleeding might be friction caused? BUT DO NOT have sex til cleared. I would talk to them again- maybe a second opinion cant hurt from a different doctor cant hurt.

What other poster said. Your doctor will tell you when it's safe again. Having sex before you get an okay could mean a pregnancy loss. They very much mean do not have sex. Some women have to stay away from sex their entire pregnancy,  it's just one of those things.
