My MIL planned our gender reveal party for us (she insisted on it) and has been paying for the majority of it but we have been contributing small amounts here and there due to not having a lot of money for things she is planning. She’s been going all out and I was thinking of getting her something for planning and hosting it at her house. She also is the only one who knows the gender at this point.
