People saying it only takes seconds you are so very wrong. I am in no way trying to be rude but it takes hours for sperm to reach an egg. That is why plan b is for up to 72hrs. It's a long perilous journey for sperm to make it to the egg...many sperm die and some just aren't strong enough. This is why a man with a low sperm count has trouble getting a woman pregnant. Even if some runs out it doesn't mean all of it ran out...you should be ok.

The sperm that is making it to your uterus makes it there within a few second the stuff that runs out are the leftover sperm and mostly semen.
