TMI: Semen or water breaking?

Question

My husband and I just had sex about a hour or so ago. I got up and went pee afterwards and while I was walking back to our bedroom I had a rush of fluid and there was a puddle on the ground (which looked like water). I’m not sure if this was just semen leaking out or my water breaking? I’m 38+5 today and a FTM.

I would think your water. Go get checked just incase

I doubt your husband produced enough semen to make a puddle. Sounds like your water broke to me. Did you go in and get check out?

I did end up going in. When I got checked, the Dr. said “well it looks like we do have amniotic fluid here”, but it wasn’t amniotic fluid under the microscope. So, I’m not sure what it was 🤷🏻‍♀️
