How long should you wait to date after a breakup?

Everyone is different. My friend split with her ex-fiancé (he cheated) and she met someone else 2 days later. 
I’ve been single 7 years, mainly coz I haven’t met someone worth dating in ages and I haven’t clicked with the guys i have been on dates with. 
Im not gunna waste my time and date just not to be single. I know what i need from a relationship and I’m not settling.

I didn’t wait lmao he started while he were still together 😂😂😂  now I actually have a loving boyfriend who respects me. Anyway I will say that although it happened hella quick it wasn’t forced and I would just say take it day by day.. if you vibe with someone tomorrow great if not then just let it come!

There’s no right or wrong answer. If you’re emotionally ready and someone comes by and sweeps you off of your feet, then date whenever you feel is healthy for you. If you find yourself feeling empty and lonelier after new dates, then that’s probably a sign that the healthier option for that time is to be single. Whether that means the breakup was last week or 6 months from now, it just depends on where your heart is at.
I’ve been single for a year in between relationships because I needed to be, and I’ve also broken up with an ex for the man that I ended up marrying. It’s all subjective.

I think it depends on the situation. Each situation is different. I'm not one to move on quickly but after my last relationship (before my current one) I moved on fairly quickly. But that's because I think I was very much done with that relationship months before I left. But any relationship before I took months before I considered dating again.
