What can baby eat?

Question

Can I fed my 7 month old wholewheat pasta? And wholemeal bread? Also can he drink water straight out the tap or has it got to be boiled first? Sorry it these seem like stupid questions

I think as long as you stay away from nuts, popcorn, honey, any candy, blueberries/grapes/blueberries/hotdogs/cherry tomatoes that aren't halved length wise you should be fine!

I did a "introducing family foods" session with a healthcare professional.
Here are the "rules"
- No raw honey
- No whole nuts
- No added sugar
- No added salt
Everything else is fair game. They can even have cows milk, just not as a drink. If you're worried, make sure it's soft enough to squish between your finger and thumb, because you have the same strength there as they have in their gums.
As a side note, I still use cooled boiled water for my little boy because its supposed to be a healthier option no matter your age, but when making his bottles I use half boiled, half tap so it cools down quicker.

Yes! There isn’t really much that babies can’t eat. The key is learning how to serve it properly. I took the BLW infant class from @feedinglittles and I found it very helpful. Since it is important to watch salt and sugar intake we have found that the low sodium Ezekiel bread in the freezer section is a great choice. It also doesn’t gum up in their mouth.

Definitely consult your doctor with feeding questions. ❤️ My daughter eats whole wheat bread, and vegetable pasta mostly. She drinker filtered water from the fridge, 2-4 oz a day.
