Do you still talk to your exes?

I brooe up with my ex bf in July & we tried being fwb but it didn’t work. 
We just got into an argument this past Saturday and haven’t spoken since Tuesday. Idk if he’s still mad at me but I feel like since we aren’t together in a relationship we shouldn’t be talking every day even though I miss him. :/ 
So what should I do..

Listen in my opinion once you break up with someone that's it, it should be over and done with. Remaining friends or talking just stops you from healing and getting over them

you're honestly putting yourself through it when you break up and it doesn't work out I really don't recommend trying to be friends with benefits and after that I yould think you'd emotionally be so messed up that you should really stay far away from him. It's almost like you guys are in a relationship without the relationship title so that's why you most likely miss him because you're still interacting everyday.

One of my exes I totally cut off because he was an abusive asshole, other ex I now occasionally talk to but we don’t talk much and we also had no contact for about 6 months after we broke up

only the ones where we broke it off on good terms. my bf still talks to some of his exes as well. but we've introduced each other to them and trust each other. my relationship with the exes i talk to are strictly platonic. fwb doesn't work for me personally. plus most of us are in relationships. 
the only iffy one is my bf's most recent ex tries to flirt with him a lot. but i don't worry about it bc whenever it happens he immediately calls me in a panic since he has no interest LOL.

I used to talk to my exes. My boyfriend didn’t like that much, but he trusted me so he knew I wasn’t up to anything. However, I stopped talking to them after they started saying gross/sexual things to me about wanting me back... one of them even told me to break up with my boyfriend for him. FUCK NO! I’m happy!
