Just curious about anyone’s stories of having babies close together...my baby is 11w5d, is now too soon to start trying for baby number two?

Not this time, but my most recent babe was born less than a year apart from his sister. Both conceived on the same weekend, 1 yr apart.

I had an IUD put in at my six week check up (my son is 11w tomorrow) and was told it was effective that day. Obviously my husband and I had sex after my appointment. Then I saw someone else say it wasn’t effective until a week after so I freaked. I CRIED because I am in no way wanting another baby so soon 😂 
I took a test yesterday and I’m in the clear 👍🏼

It really takes a year for your body to be completely healed but it’s not uncommon! If both of you are ready I say go for it! I personally want at least a year focused completely on my son

I want another baby but definitely not so soon! It took forever to finally get pregnant (5 years of trying) but I don't want to even think about getting pregnant until close to her first birthday. My mom had 4 under 5 with my older siblings, and my sister had her daughter 13 months after her son so I know how hard having them too close is and that's not for me lol.

According to all my research it's too early, according to my doctor theres no risk. Maybe call your doctor and see if he/she thinks you're ready? 
I'm still not cleared for sex yet and I'm enjoying everything I didnt have while pregnant to do it again so soon. Part of me thought of trying again right away but I'm not ready. 
If you are and your doctor says you're ok then go for it!

My husband and I tried for 6 years and I heard your most fertile right after you have a baby. Would love one more but if not I’m completely happy with my baby girl!

Nope! I had a c section and doc recommended I wait 12 months before getting pregnant again. I waited 15 months between #1 and #2, idk if we will have a third baby but I'm definitely not trying yet!!
