How do i tell my sister she smells?

First of all - she’s a really emotional person, depressed, easily hurt, etc.

If you tell her something that is about her appearance, hygiene, clothing, lifestyle, she takes it as an insult and goes on a defense mode, which is very nasty and aggressive. She can’t take a criticism.

I know for a fact that she’s not taking care of her hygiene that much. We grew up with a mother who was uncomfortable with explaining us how woman body works, so we had to figure it out on our own. I guess she shifted off at some point, or didn’t have a chance to learn a lot. I don’t know..

But every time I walk in the bathroom after her, I feel this unbearable smell of dirty lady parts. It’s horrible!!

And the toilet seat smells like it, the whole bathroom smells like it, and I have to wait for like 10 minutes for the smell to go away.

I don’t want to hurt her feelings, but I feel like she should know. Not only because of my comfort, but for herself too.

I’ll move out in a few months and I’ll get away from that horrible smell, but what do I do now?
