Does anyone else’s baby suck their thumb?!

I really don’t want a thumb sucker but sometimes she does it to soothe herself. She also takes a pacifier sometimes but still goes for the thumb.

It’s not a big deal at this age. In fact it’s noted as the first step to self soothing

My guy doesn't suck his thumb but will suck on his fingers or fist lol

My baby dose this at night, he's soothing himself and it's making it a lot easier on me! He stoped taking a passy at the end of 3m

I thought my lo had started sucking his thumb and like you was really worried but noticed he was chewing it more than sucking and it was more to do with his gums, we got him a shark shaped teethed and he chews that now instead!

I worried about this since my LO does it but after some research and talk with our doctor he said not to worry and by attempting to stop them it can actually reinforce it and make
It harder for them to stop in the future! So for now we just enjoy how adorable it :)

Our babe is a thumb sucker. He’s got a cold now, and I swear his thumb is saving us! He’s waking up way more often at night, but he finds his thumb and goes back to bed. Plus, it’s the cutest thing ever 😉

Yup , when I put her down to sleep and her pacifier falls out, she used her thumb to go to sleep
