I am 12 weeks pregnant and was recently fired from my job. Without going into specifics, it happened shortly after I let them know I’m expecting. I know I can win unemployment. However, I will of course be looking for other jobs. My main concern is, when I find my next job, by the time I give birth I won’t have been there an entire year to qualify for FMLA...So what will happen when it comes time for me to take maternity leave? I may lose that job also since there will be nothing to cover me? Has anyone else dealt with this before? What can I even do?
