Repeat c-section

My babies due date was October 23rd. I had a scheduled c-section for October 16th but due to gestational diabetes and my fasting blood sugars being elevated they moved the date to October the 9th. Even though this was my 2nd c-section I was so nervous and scared. With my first child I did not know it was gonna end up in a c-section so I did not really have time to think about it. So my doctor said it should only take about an hour to do the c-section and when all was said and done it took 2 hours and 43 minutes..... apparently I had a ton of scar tissue that they had to get through! I wanted my tubes tied and my doctor told me I was making the right decision due to my uterus being so scared up and it only gets worse with each c-section! My baby boy came out screaming which was all I wanted! A happy healthy baby boy weighing in at 8 pounds and 3 oz. welcome to the world Bradley Cole Chavis! The recovery was okay.... the first day I felt good but the 2nd and 3rd day I was miserable. It’s crazy how they say those 2 days are the worst. I got discharged 4 days later and ended up back in the hospital the next day..... I went in for my doctor to look at my incision and I told her how I had this horrendous headache since being discharged and nothing helped.... my blood pressure was 160/110 and she sent me to the hospital right away. She said it could be preeclampsia which I did not know even was a thing After birth! But they have me all kinds of meds to help with the headache and my bp slowly went back to normal. They ran all the test for preeclampsia but everything came back normal!
