Did you tell people your baby name?

We've decided his name now ( well it's been decided since 16 weeks and we're now 35!) But have only told a few people (my mum and 2 of our friends)
What are you doing about telling people the chosen name?? My mum told everyone the name she was using for.my sister then one of her friends due a few weeks before her used it so I'm weary🙄🙄

Every baby name we told people there would always be opinions like ‘ I don’t like that name ‘ ‘ he will get bullied in school for the name ‘ so we stopped telling people and didn’t make up our mind about a name until he was born but once they all heard it I didn’t hear any snide remarks thankfully

I haven't told anyone...hubby has told his parents and a few of his siblings. Even though we agreed to keep it a secret 😅

I’m not worried about someone taking my name. I don’t want to hear people say they don’t like it and to not name our child that. So no one will know until he his born. This is more so for our family members who are HIGHLY opinionated. ￼

I have only told my family, in laws, and my best friend...<—- which I was hesitant about because she named her daughter Elliana after my step daughter was born,even admitted that she named her Daughter Elliana because my step-daughter was an Elliana.  We are naming our little girl Sloane and she hated it at first and then she texted me saying that she actually really loves the name and might use it for her next girl... I told her if she did that I would never forgive her and we won’t be friends

Literally JUST posted this. I’m not telling any of my friends or anyone cause too many people are pregnant and I will be PISSED if someone takes my name who gives birth before me 😂🗣.  There’s been so many names I loved and then my friends had kids years before me and they’re all gone. So now I’m like, I only have 7 months to keep this in and a secret! I can do it 😂

I told my family  as its a family name..(my grandfathers) but  i try to refrain in mom groups lol because its have classic and unique and like to keep it that way ...is that mean of me?🤣😭

I’m opting to keep it between us (but I’ll tell my mom because I know she will love the name no matter what) because previous names we really liked were met with rude comments (from his mother specifically) so were just not going to tell anyone to keep it fair and to not piss me off. But I’m still gonna tell my mom lol...

We had semi decided on a name early on but didnt tell until it was set in stone.  Peoples opinions dont bother me unless it's legit.  Like weird initials or horrible potential nicknames etc that we didn't think of
