anyone have advice about birth control such as resources, info, where and how to get it, and the effects it may have on me (since im underage)? and if someone could provide me with tips about consulting with my mother that would be amazing- im terrified of talking to her about getting on the pill. she knows about one experience ive encountered with sex, and her reaction (as expected) was devastating. ive only recently learned about the pill form of contraception after practicing unsafe sex. my goal is to work on my own mental health first, and id really like to be more abstinent about risky behaviors like these. i also think that if the time comes with the right person, i want to prevent another pregnancy scare. this is all so overwhelming for me and my mom, so any bit of advice would be greatly appreciated. please be kind, it’s very shocking and disgusting to some people but it’s a sad reality for others. thank you so much.
