Hey everyone! So i totalllyyyyy messed up, and i need your help to either prepare myself mentally or put my mind at ease.

I was on the combination birth control and had taken it consistently since July 21st. I dropped a pill one day so i ended up ending my pack September 27th. I got my period September 30th- October 2nd. The problem is my insurance was being weird about birth control, so i ended up using the end of a random pack i found that i hadn't finished, starting October 9th- still right now, i have a couple of pills left.

I had unprotected sex October 12th and he came in me. We immediately went and bought plan b, and i took it within the hour. I guess my question is what are the chances i ovulated from not taking a pill for the placebo week and one additional day before my period and the 3 additional days after. I read somewhere that EC is not effective once someone has already ovulated. I did take a pill consistently for 4 days before the accident, so would that be enough to stop ovulation?

Since then, i got a hormonal IUD put in because im not going to go through this again.
