I feel like I get less sleep than I did 3/4 months ago. He will wake me up crying, screaming or moaning over 5 times a night. He doesn’t seem to actually wake up. His eyes are closed.

I will leave him to begin with and sometimes he will settle himself in a minute or so. He goes to bed in his cot very easily at 8pm each night. No longer needs a dummy to go to sleep and doesn’t always have a bottle at night. Has never fussed if I leave the room etc.

When he cries and doesn’t seem to stop I end up putting him onto his back and putting in the dummy which seems to make him go back to sleep instantly. However I’m sure he isn’t waking for his dummy as he rarely has it anymore.

Any advice please? Im considering buying a sleep book but not sure if it would be beneficial. All the reviews seem to be of babies who won’t settle or fall to sleep etc which isn’t a problem for me.
