Sterilizing paci’s?!

FTM here & im packing mine and baby’s hospital bag. I would like to take my own pacifiers, I know to sterilize them for 5 mins in boiling water but after that, how should I store them for the hospital? Also how long are they sterilized for?! Help!!!

Is it ok to use paci’s right after birth? (Genuinely asking)  My childbirth class told us not to use them for 3 weeks due to nipple confusion 🤷‍♀️ but the more I talk with actual moms about some of the advice we were given in the class, the more some of it sounds unrealistic.

A couple of packs that I got came with containers! I washed one of those and sterilized the paci that I’m bringing to the hospital! Following for how long it’s good for though as I’m not too sure. I just wanted to get her hospital bag completely ready to ease my mind lol if it ends up being too long before i have her, I’ll just wash and sterilize again

I bought a pot for them. You can get ones that have their own self- sterilising box. They’re called MAM
