I am heartbroken this morning. My husbands horse has been MIA since Sunday morning. She is 24 years old and needs her teeth floated (filed) so we were penning her up and feeding her. We kept her penned around the clock for a week so she would learn her feeding schedule. We turned her out and she came up faithfully every evening, went in the pen, ate, we let her out, she walked around to the front porch got brushed and pampered then she would go back to pasture and repeat next day. This went on for 2 weeks then I penned her Saturday night to feed and fell asleep before releasing her. I released her before I fixed breakfast Sunday morning and that's the last time we saw her... dh and I searched all night Tuesday night our pastures and the neighbors. No sign of her. I searched yesterday in the daylight...still no sign of her. At this point I'm not expecting to find her alive, but I just want to find her so dh can have some closure...he has had her since we were in high school....
