Ovidrel and pregnancy test

I have a question and little back story. I feel stupid for this to be honest I did my first Ovidrel shot oct 13 which was last sunday. I know it can stay in the system for up to 14 days. I know I'm only 6 days past the shot today (Oct 20). I took a test 2 days after the shot just for the hell of it and it was there but wasnt to dark but I took a test yesterday just because I'm anxious and the lines were extremely dark. The farther away from the shot day shouldnt the line get lighter not darker unless pregnant?
