Is it worth the money?

So it depends on whether or not you have more time or more money to spare I think. The things that measures you can probably measure yourself if you read enough about fertility awareness method, and read a book like taking charge of your fertility, in which case you could just buy a cheap BBT thermometer and do the work yourself. However if you are very busy, or if you wanted to take the guesswork out of it, Ava definitely might be a good fit. I'm only on my first cycle of wearing it so I can't tell you too much from experience. I have a $20 off code though if you need one let me know.

As someone who did fertility treatments, conceived naturally and has had several miscarriages... I will say this. 
The act of TTC is beyond stressful. Adding in remembering to wake at the same time ever day to take your temp and measure other body function can add to the stress. 
I had miscarriage in Oct 2018 and really wanted to conceive our last baby so I got tired of doing all the tracking myself. I bought the Ava in November 2018. The first month is useless data because Ava needs time to learn you. December was my first cycle where Ava gave me decent data that made a little sense to me. Then January I got a bad case of pneumonia and had a fever for almost 2 weeks so that data was USELESS.  But then February was easy. Found out mid March we were expecting again. 
Things I have learned. 
1) Ava itself; the device is nice. It tracks your resting heart rate, skin temp, and breathing all on its own. No extra work on your end. Sleep in or wake early, doesn’t matter. 
2) Ava data is hard to read and understand in the actual Ava app. Best used when paired with fertility friend. I took all my Ava data and plugged it into fertility friend and then it finally got to a point where I knew I was pregnant before I could even test. 
3) a lot of people are sensitive to the band and get a mild rash for the first few weeks. Idk why but it’s a common issue but it goes away after your skin is used to it. 
4) Ava has a guarantee. I forget the details but something like wear it for so many nights for at least a year and if not pregnant you get a full refund. 
After I conceived and knew it was a successful pregnancy I resold mine to a friend and got most my money back. 
Did I find it useful? Yes. It took the stress away bc it was something that was natural and didn’t take any extra work on my part.

I bought an ava on eBay to save a little money .ive been the for a long time so I wanted something to help .it has made ttc a little easier for me .and lots of helpful information for my doctor.
