I went for my 12 weeks scan and the fluid behind my baby’s neck was measuring 6.2mm and they said anything below 3.5mm is normal. The sonographer said sorry she gave me such bad news and said doctor will speak to me. Dr stated there is 50percent chance baby has Down’s syndrome and edinsons and another one I can’t remember. 30 percent chance baby is “ok” they didn’t seem hopeful and talked about terminated and even was reluctant and assumed I wouldn’t want to see scan pic. I have an app at big hospital in one week where they will do a test of putting needle in my tummy to get fluid to see which disability. My husband was crying like a baby. Anyone been in similar situation and what was your outcome
