I didn’t want a baby shower. Simply because I hate being the center of attention and most of friends stay in another state. My family is small so I wouldn’t have that many people at my baby shower. It was just a waste of money paying for a place to host it, decorations, cake and food for an uncertain amount of people to show up. But, my husband and mother wouldn’t let it go about me not wanting to have a baby shower, so I gave in. My baby shower is next Saturday and maybe 15 people from my family show up. I found out last night that my husbands family will not be attending & I’m in tears. I just want to cancel it. If they had of just listened to me in the first place I wouldn’t have to be under this stress. It’s something I knew was going to happen. I don’t want to have a baby shower with only a handful of my family and none of his family. It’s embarrassing and it causes me great anxiety.
