Baby Naps & Stressed Husband

Baby Naps:

My baby girl used to fall asleep anywhere. Typically, in her swing but she hates that thing now. Today, she’s been crying for no apparent reason. My husband got frustrated and put her in her crib and she eventually fell asleep. So, when she was crying again later and he was frustrated, I put her in her crib for a nap. And she fell right asleep. I’m thinking maybe to save her from getting over tired and us getting stressed, I should set nap times for her? What do you guys think? She’s 4 months today.

Stressed hubby:

Seriously. How do you guys deal with overwhelmed dads in a healthy way? I need help.

It makes me SO angry when he’s been home for the weekend and by Sunday morning he’s complaining that he needs a break. Baby’s crying is upsetting him, he’s getting spit up on. Honestly, it just looks like a normal day for me. And he’s only doing 1/2 the work I’d normally do! I get that he goes to work all week, but I mean, taking care of a baby is hard work, too. Obviously. He admitted to it being stressful. But instead of seeing it as an “oh yeah. She needs a break” he took it as then I would understand why he needs a break. It’s just all around frustrating for everyone and no one is right or wrong, I feel like.
